Cornerback Da'Quan Davis committed to West Virginia Saturday for a number of reasons, but, in the end, it was the words of his future coach that left an impact, Davis said Monday afternoon.

Over the weekend, Davis joined the Mountaineer class of 2012. He did so while his Baltimore-based 7-on-7 team, "Next Level Nation," was playing in the annual WVU passing tournament on Mountaineer Field.
