Tulsa returned to the practice field on Monday after taking Sunday off to rest. The Hurricane defense struggled for much of Saturday's scrimmage, but they came back focused and responded well to the adversity.

"The defense came back very focused, the number one unit especially did," said Tulsa head coach Bill Blankenship. "That's a mature group. They responded real well to Coach (Brent) Guy and the challenges he gave them.
