Tulsa ends Canadian trip with a loss

InsideTulsaSports.com Tulsa couldn't quite make it a perfect four for four on their Canadian exhibition tour. In their fourth game in as many days, TU fell behind early to A-Game Hoops and fell short in their second-half comeback attempt, falling 102-92.
The Golden Hurricane was outscored 30-18 in the first quarter and headed into halftime down by 19 points. A-Game Hoops opened a 74-49 lead early in the third quarter, but Tulsa closed the period on a 12-2 run to get within 15 points. TU won the fourth quarter 31-26, but it was not enough.
"We didn't come out ready to play," said Tulsa Head Coach Danny Manning. "The intensity or sense of urgency was not there, and we paid for it. Their team came out and moved the ball extremely well. They penetrated and kicked out to open shooters, and everyone on their team was a good shooter, probably with the exception of their five-man.
