Tulsa pulls away from OPSU

InsideTulsaSports.com Tulsa used a big second half to build a 43 point lead and cruise to a 113-70 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State in the Hurricane's final exhibition game. Six TU players scored in double-figures.
Tulsa jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead after true freshman Shaquille Harrison opened the scoring with a three-pointer, followed by a layup from Rashad Smith. The Hurricane opened a nine-point gap in the first five minutes, and pushed it to 13 at 30-17 with 12 minutes to play in the opening half.
But Panhandle State wasn't going away easy. They fought back with seven first-half three-pointers that kept them in the contest, as they cut Tulsa's lead to 50-45 at the break.
