The Danny Manning era of Tulsa basketball officially begins Sunday when the Golden Hurricane opens the season against LSU-Shreveport at the Donald W. Reynolds Center, and excitement is high among the TU faithful.

"I'd like to think that you see our team and you say 'hey these guys come out here and they work hard'," said Manning. "That's what I want you to say when you see them on the court. Stepping on the court, we just want people to describe us as a hard-working team."
