The Wake Forest football team is on a roll on the gridiron, reeling off five wins in a row, including last Saturday's 44-24 win over Navy. The Demon Deacons are also on a roll off the field, as they picked up their twelfth commitment for the 2008 class, Chris Givens.

The talented Wylie (TX) running back was having a very productive season last time Deacons Illustrated caught up with him, but he tore the ACL in his left knee during a game against district opponent Richardson Berkner.

With Jim Grobe's unique redshirt system, the two-star prospect should have plenty of time to rehab his knee and get back to the impressive form that helped him land scholarship offers from Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Utah, North Texas and UNLV.
