InsideTulsaSports.com (ITS), originally The Hurricane Alert, was created by Chris Harmon in November of 2002. The Alert began as a newsletter that was offered by Tulsa SportsWeb and was distributed weekly to Tulsa fans via e-mail and fax. Over its first year, The Hurricane Alert quickly caught on and the content greatly expanded, which led to a partnership with Alliance Sports and the Rivals.com College Network.

InsideTulsaSports.com is a fully-credentialed online media publication covering the daily beat for Tulsa football and basketball and is widely regarded as the definitive source on Golden Hurricane football and basketball recruiting.

InsideTulsaSports.com contains inside scoop on University of Tulsa basketball, football and recruiting, as well as updates on other Golden Hurricane sports. Inside Tulsa Sports also provides basketball and football rosters and stats, recruiting lists, scores and box scores, depth charts, game previews and articles, quotes from players and coaches, and much more. CHRIS HARMON - Publisher and Managing Editor
Harmon established Inside Tulsa Sports in November of 2002 in order to develop the definitive source on Golden Hurricane football, basketball and recruiting. He is a member of the Football Writers Association of America and the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. He has written hundreds of articles for both electronic and print media, and makes regular radio appearances in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City markets. Harmon spent two years as an editor and beat reporter for Tulsa SportsWeb in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as two years as a recruiting analyst for Sooner State Recruiting and PrepRecruiting.com. He has also provided Tulsa athletics coverage to print publications such as VYPE Magazine, High School Sports - The Magazine, the Moore American and the McAlester News Capital, as well as internet publications such as College Hoops Net, OKprepXtra.com and FlyersHoops.net.

BILL LOWERY - Recruiting Analyst/Editor
Lowery has extensive experience in college basketball recruiting and has been a contributor to Inside Tulsa Sports since its inception. He worked three years (two under Lynn Nance and one under Darin Archer) as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Lowery also spent four years evaluating high school and junior college players for Oklahoma Hoops and Midwest Basketball, as well as two years as a recruiting analyst for Sooner State Recruiting.
