Now let me get this straight, you advocate keeping the tax system we have now, the same, and do not want it changed? So that mountain sized set of tax exemptions, loopholes and hedges etc should be allowed/continued? So you would want to pay someone, a tax expert maybe like Timothy Geitner to do your taxes? Charlie Rangel maybe?

Well, how about this. Put it to a vote. The two possibilities are as follows. One form is similar to the one we have now with the thousands of pages of tax laws tied in. The other is my simplified version that can be filled out by the common mom or dad without hiring a tax attourney and CPA. How about that? Want to bet how many folks out there would keep doing what they have to do every year now?

BTW, thanks for agreeing that the tax rules are way too complicated and create more problems and lost revenue than they solve for the majority out there. So now we can address whether we want more people or less being forced into getting those benefits. In other words, is it a better to have more people getting more from taxes than they ever put in? Is that harmful to society in general.
