There are good traditional issues out there such as the ecconomy, energy, growth of government, ObamaCare, and the furthering of manufacturing. Yet Santorum can not leave the separation of church and state alone?
The good news for the Republican Party is that he is doing this now before his campaign goes much further.
Santorum has to use this issue to deflect the spotlight from his poor voting record on many conservative issues.
Once you get past his Hawkish image and swinging rosary there is little there to distinguish his empty sweater vest from obamas empty suit.
