White hoping for Tulsa offer
Seminole (Okla.) running back Papi White had been flying well under the radar, but after rushing for over 3,000 yards as a senior, Tulsa and a few other programs began paying close attention.
White has led the Chieftains to a 13-0 record and the Class 3A state semifinals, where they will face Kingfisher. In three playoff games, White has rushed for 1,116 yards and 13 touchdowns. He started off with a state playoff record of 466 yards in the first round, followed by 347 yards in the second round and another 303 yards in the quarterfinals.
"Kingfisher is the best and most crucial game of the year, and that's how our Chieftains like it," White told InsideTulsaSports.com. "My senior season has been the best of the three years I've played, and these three playoff games have just been unbelievable."
