TU Recruiting Update: Offensive Line

Tulsa's offensive line took some time to jell in 2013, and they lose three from the squad. The following is an update on the Hurricane's 2014 recruiting efforts with offensive linemen.

Junior guard Jake Alexander is ending his career early due to injury. Senior Stetson Burnett was valuable at both tackle and guard, but he missed several games during his career due to injury. Gabe Moyer was interchangeable at guard and center and became a full time starter during his senior season.

Tulsa returns starters Garrett Stafford (left tackle), Dylan Foxworth (center) and Davis Walton (right tackle). While TU has several talented youngsters ready to step up, the Hurricane will restock the cupboard with three to four offensive linemen in the class of 2014.

The Golden Hurricane currently has two tackles and one center/guard committed in the class of 2014, and several others are on the radar. With four to six spots remaining in the class, it is very possible TU will take one more offensive lineman, but not guaranteed. The following is a rundown of where things stand...
