Busy summer for Riederer
Holton (Kansas) safety Rob Riederer was the University of Tulsa's first football commitment in the 2012 class, and he has a busy summer lined up, starting with this weekend's U.S. U-19 National Football Trials in Georgia. He also continues to get interest from other programs.
"It's going good. We start tomorrow (at the U.S. Trials)," he said. "I went up today to get a workout for about an hour and a half. It is five practices in two and a half days, and it is 7-on-7, 1-on-1 and position drills."

The 6-foot-1 and 204-pound defensive back has been getting acquainted with other top talent invited to the camp.
"I was looking on the sheet and saw Alverey Braxton was invited and also Eddie Printz, who I talked to today," he explained.
The camp is part of a busy summer for Riederer, who will also attend Tulsa's one day camp in early June.
"I am doing this USA camp, the Tulsa camp and lifting weights," he said of his summer plans. "I will continue to improve on everything, because there is always room to get better in anything you do.
"I talked with Coach (Scott) Downing about a week ago, and I will be seeing all of the (Tulsa) coaches when I go down to the camp on June 4th."
Riederer is also staying in touch with Tulsa's other committed 2012 prospects, Craig Suits and Michael Thomas.
"Yeah, I talked with them, and we are all going to Tulsa's camp," he added.
In early April, Kansas and Kansas State both contacted Riederer's coach to see how firm the Holton standout was in his commitment to TU. This month, two more BCS programs have made contact.
"I think some schools have called my coach, and I got some mail from Nebraska and Stanford," he described. "But I am firmly committed to Tulsa, so I haven't responded to anything."
