Tulsa bounced back from its loss at Houston in a big way with a convincing 50-27 Homecoming victory against Tulane. Several Hurricane players reached meaningful milestones and continued to make significant dents in the school and conference record books.

QB DANE EVANS

• Senior quarterback Dane Evans finished the game with 236 yards passing and three touchdowns. He became the second Tulsa quarterback to reach the 10,000-yard passing mark. Evans now has 10,060 passing yards and trails Paul Smith (2003-07) as the school’s all-time passing leader by 868 yards.

• Evans also finished the game with 230 yards of total offense and became the third Tulsa quarterback to reach the 10,000-yard mark in that category. He now has 10,086 yards of total offense and trails G.J. Kinne (2009-11) by 737 yards for second on the school’s all-time chart.

• Evans now has 74 combined touchdowns and has tied T.J. Rubley (1987-91) for third on Tulsa’s touchdown responsibility chart.

• In AAC play, Evans now has 9,170 passing yards. Already tops on the conference’s passing chart, he became the first AAC quarterback to reach the 9,000-yard mark.

WR KEEVAN LUCAS

• Senior receiver Keevan Lucas finished the game with three receptions for 67 yards and is now tied with Garrett Mills (2002-05) for fourth on Tulsa’s all-time reception chart with 201. With his second catch of the game, he became the fifth Tulsa receiver to reach the 200-reception mark.

WR JOSH ATKINSON

• Senior receiver Josh Atkinson finished the game with a career-high 142 receiving yards on seven receptions. It was Atkinson’s ninth career 100-yard receiving game, which ties Damon Savage (1996-99) and Donald Shoals (1999-2001) for seventh on Tulsa’s all-time chart.

• Atkinson now has 2,113 career receiving yards. He is the 16th Tulsa receiver to reach the 2,000-yard mark.

• Atkinson also now has 164 career receptions and has surpassed Dan Bitson (1987-91) for 10th on Tulsa’s all-time receptions chart.

LUCAS / ATKINSON

• Senior receivers Keevan Lucas and Josh Atkinson are now the third duo or set of Tulsa teammates to have 2,000 career receiving yards at the same time. The previous Tulsa players to accomplish this feat are Damaris Johnson, Charles Clay and Trae Johnson (2010), and Keyarris Garrett and Kevan Lucas (2015).

RB JAMES FLANDERS

• Senior running back James Flanders finished the game with a career high 190 yards rushing and his fourth career 100-yard rushing game.
