Tulsa lands two on C-USA All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas - A pair of University of Tulsa seniors, linebacker Alan Dock and quarterback G.J. Kinne, were selected to the 12-member Conference USA Football All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office.
The all-academic team consists of student-athletes who have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve on their team. The team was chosen by a vote of C-USA sports information directors.

Dock, who graduated last May with a degree in accounting with a 3.63 grade point average, is currently working on his master's degree in business.
The 5'11" linebacker from Giddings, Texas, is in his first year as a starter for the Golden Hurricane. In 12 games, Dock has collected 68 tackles, 2.5 stops for -14 yards, two interceptions, two pass break-ups and one forced fumble this year. He has tallied 88 tackles in 41 career games.
Kinne earns All-Academic team honors for the third consecutive season. The exercise sports science major also graduated last spring with a 3.27 GPA and is working on a second degree in sports management.
Kinne has started 37 consecutive games and has a 23-14 record as a starter. He ranks second in school history for career total offensive yards (10,617) and TD passes thrown (78) and is third on the school's career passing yards (9,258) list.
The 6'2" signal-caller from Gilmer, Texas, has 14 career 300+ passing games. This year, Kinne has completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 2,876 yards and 25 TDs, while throwing for 300+ passing yards five times.
