Two Tulsa football players will not return
Two freshmen football players, kicker Daniel Schwarz and receiver Adam Boyd, will not return to the University of Tulsa in 2013.
Schwarz, from Lawton (Okla.) MacArthur High School, was one of only two true freshmen to earn a letter during the 2012 season. A Conference USA All-Freshman Team selection, Schwarz set a freshman school record with 88 points on 12-of-18 field goals and 52-of-59 point-after-attempts.

Schwarz was rated as one of the nation's top ten high school kickers in the class of 2012 by Rivals.com, and he chose Tulsa over offers from Alabama, LSU, Texas, TCU, Oregon State and others.
Adam Boyd, from McAlester (Okla.) High School, sat out the 2012 season with an injury. At McAlester, he had 69 receptions for 1,189 yards and seven touchdowns during his senior season.
Boyd was a two-star prospect on Rivals.com, and while Tulsa was the only school to extend a scholarship offer, he was also receiving interest from Missouri, Kansas, Army, Princeton, Penn, Dartmouth and Harvard.
Details surrounding the departure of these two players were not provided by TU.
