Woodard averaged 14.0 points and 8.0 rebounds for Tulsa in a pair of games, including a road win at Rice to conclude the regular season. He registered his fifth double-double of the season, with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and made 4-of-9 field goals and 2-of-3 free throws to lead the Golden Hurricane to the win at Rice.
In a March 6 game against SMU, Woodard scored 17 points with five rebounds and a pair of steals.
This is his fourth C-USA Freshman of the Week award of the season. He also received the honor November 12, November 26 and December 24. Teammate D'Andre Wright, a 6-foot-8 forward, received the Freshman of the Week award twice in February.
In the regular season, Woodard started 26 of 29 games, averaging 11.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
