Kevin Ollie and his staff have added more frontcourt reinforcements in the form of a commitment from junior college prospect Kwintin Williams, a 6-foot-7 forward from Anchorage, Alaska.
Washington, TCU, UNLV, Pittsburgh, and Oregon were among the schools who offered Williams, who received the UConn offer a day before making his commitment.
According to Scout's Evan Daniels, Williams will have two years of eligibility. He played the 2015-2016 season at Pima Community College in Arizona after doing a postgraduate year and then took this past season off to focus on his grades and have as much eligibility as possible for the D1 level. In his season at PCC, he averaged 18 points and 8.3 rebounds in 22 games.
