Tulsa bounced back from the previous week’s loss at Navy with an impressive 35-20 victory on the road against UCF. With the season finale plus a bowl game left on the schedule, here’s where things stand with the school’s all-time charts:

QB DANE EVANS

• Senior quarterback Dane Evans finished the game with 126 yards passing and two touchdowns. Already the program’s leading passer, Evans became the first Tulsa quarterback with over 11,000 career yards (11,071).

• Evans also finished the game with 140 yards of total offense and now has 11,111 yards of total offense. He needs 395 yards to surpass Paul Smith (2003-07) for first on Tulsa’s all-time chart.

• Evans now has 76 career touchdown passes and trails G.J. Kinne (2009-11) by five and Smith by seven.

• Evans now has 2,739 passing yards this season. He needs 261 yards to become the first Tulsa quarterback to have three 3,000-yard seasons in his career.

• Evans also has 2,678 yards of total offense season. He needs 322 yards to join G.J. Kinne as one of two Tulsa quarterbacks with three 3,000-yard seasons.

• Evans has 24 touchdown passes this season and is eighth on Tulsa’s season chart.

• Evans has been responsible for 28 touchdowns this season, which is tied for seventh on Tulsa’s season chart.

• In AAC play, Evans has 767 career completions and has surpassed Paxton Lynch (Memphis/2013-15) for the league record.

• Evans is now #56 on the NCAA all-time passing charts and is on pace to finish within the top 40. Some of the notable quarterbacks he is closing in on include #54 Eric Zeier (Georgia/1991-94), #51 Peyton Manning (Tennessee/1994-97), and #41 Chad Pennington (Marshall/1997-99).

WR KEEVAN LUCAS

• Senior receiver Keevan Lucas finished the game with four receptions for 68 yards and one touchdown. He now has 3,058 career receiving yards and has become the fourth Tulsa receiver to reach the 3,000-yard mark. On Tulsa’s career chart, Lucas is 151 yards from tying Keyarris Garrett (2011-15) for third, 242 yards from tying Dan Bitson (1987-91) for second, and 285 yards from tying Howard Twilley (1963-65) for the school record.

• Lucas now has 223 career receptions and has moved into sole possession of second on Tulsa’s all-time chart. He trails school record holder Twilley by 38 receptions.

• Lucas also now has 28 career receiving touchdowns and is tied with Charles Clay (2007-10) for fourth on Tulsa’s career chart. He needs one receiving touchdown to tie Bitson for third and four touchdowns to tie Twilley and Largent (1973-75) for the school record.

• Lucas is also now 10th on Tulsa’s all-time total touchdowns chart.

• Lucas now has 988 receiving yards this season and needs 12 yards to become the 19th TU receiver to reach the 1,000-yard mark and the fourth TU receiver to record multiple 1,000-yard seasons.

RB JAMES FLANDERS

• Senior running back James Flanders finished the game with 163 rushing yards. He now has 1,332 rushing yards on the season and moved past Micheal Gunter (1983), Gordon Brown (1985), Tarrion Adams (1,225), Chris Hughley (1991) and Trey Watts (2013) into fourth place on Tulsa’s season chart. Flanders needs 191 yards to tie Adams (2008) for the school record.

• Flanders now has 15 rushing touchdowns this season, which is fourth most in school history.

• He also has 1,880 career rushing yards and needs 120 yards to become the 13th Tulsa player to hit the 2,000-yard mark.

RB D’ANGELO BREWER

• Junior running back D’Angelo Brewer had 167 rushing yards. He now has 1,231 rushing yards this season and moved past Brett Adams (1989), Ken Lacy (1982), Trey Watts (2012), Howard Waugh (1951), Micheal Gunter (1983), Gordon Brown (1985) and Tarrion Adams (2007) into seventh place on Tulsa’s season chart.

• Brewer now has 2,196 career rushing yards and has surpassed Steve Gage (1983-86) and Brett Adams (1987-90) and moved into a tie for 10th with Gordon Brown (1984-85) on Tulsa’s career chart.

FLANDERS / BREWER

• Flanders and Brewer have a combined 2,563 rushing yards this season. They surpassed Micheal Gunter and Ken Lacy (1982) for the most combined rushing yardage for a pair of Tulsa teammates in school history.

• If Flanders gains 120 more rushing yards, he and Brewer will become the third pair of Tulsa teammates to have 2,000-plus yards rushing at the same. The other duos are Michael Gunter and Ken Lacy, and Ja’Terian Douglas and Trey Watts.

• While playing together, Flanders and Brewer have a combined 4,071 rushing yards, which is the third most for any Tulsa duo as well as the third time any Tulsa duo has combined for 4,000-plus yards. Flanders and Brewer trail Michael Gunter and Ken Lacy (1980-82) by 315 yards for second.

EVANS / FLANDERS / BREWER / LUCAS / ATKINSON

• These five Tulsa players are on the verge of setting a new career record as the only team in NCAA history to have one 3,000-yard passer, two 1,000-yard rushers and two 1,000-yard receivers.

• For this to happen, Evans needs 261 passing yards, Lucas needs 12 receiving yards and Atkinson needs 169 receiving yards.

PK REDFORD JONES

• Jones scored five points and now has 107 points on the season. He surpassed Steve Gage (1985) and Brad DeVault (2005) for eighth on Tulsa’s season chart. Jones is fourth on Tulsa’s season scoring chart for kicking only and needs five points to tie Kevin Fitzpatrick (2010) for the school record.

LB TRENT MARTIN

• Senior linebacker Trent Martin had nine tackles and now has 318 for his career. He surpassed Levi Gillen (1994-97) and Dexter McCoil (2009-12) to move into 14th on Tulsa’s all-time chart.

TULSA TEAM

• Tulsa now has 2,835 rushing yards on the season and needs 165 yards to reach the 3,000-yard mark for the 10th time in school history.

• Tulsa won its eighth game of the season and has now won eight or more games for the 30th time in school history.
